We know you’re out there. You are a musician, know your stuff and would love the opportunity to sit in and play on a Nashville session with music row’s finest! Well… here’s your chance!
As you may already know, recording in Nashville is totally different than any other place in the world. First of all, we utilize the Nashville Number System for charting and songs are tracked with the whole band going down at one time, not stacking track by track. Musicians come in, listen to a song one time, then go and play it. An entire song is completely tracked in less than 30 minutes.
Maybe you want to come to Nashville and be a session player but don’t know where to start. Maybe it’s just a bucket list thing to do. Whatever your reason, we are going to make it possible for you to learn how its done and throw your hat in the ring! This is an intense two day program. We will make sure that you understand how sessions here work, how to read and write charts using the number system, the etiquette in the studio, how to work with the other musicians, etc.. but most of all, its going to be a BLAST!!
Here’s how it works: You will come to Nashville for a two day wood shedding extravaganza!
Day One: You will be spending all day with Chip Hardy and Rod Lewis learning the Nashville Number System and jamming out while practicing playing charts down.
Day Two: You will be spending 6 hours in the studio with the full band recording!
We can record your songs (instrumental only)! We will mix what’s recorded and give you copies to take home! It’s gonna be a blast and you will learn a TON!
