We are VERY

Roundtable guests will be Kim Jones of Red Stripe Plane
Music , Brad Kennard
of Song Garden Publishing and June McHugh of Ashstreet. In
case you didn't know, Red Stripe Plane has cuts by Taylor Swift,
Big Kenny, Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnutt, Blake Shelton, 98n
Degrees, Michael Jackson, Destiny's Child and more.
AshStreet has the famous "Troubador" cut by George Strait, also
cuts by Randy Trtavis, Adam Gregory, Alan Jackson to name a few.
Song Garden's writing staff includes Don Shlitz, James T Slater,
Brett Eldridge and Kris Burgsnes. These writers alone have too
many hits to name here on the page.
So this is a
publisher night you do NOT WANT TO MISS as there will be a
4th publisher as a surprise bonus to this event!!!
The Publisher's
Roundtable series is an evening with three publishers and these
aren't the interns at the publishing company, these are the
people that have the power to sign writers to deals! This
event is limited to 15 participants. Only the participants
will be able to attend, so no bringing friends or spouses unless
they are one of the participants. Food and drink will be
served and everyone get to network, eat, and pick the brain
of each professional! The guests will listen to one song
from each participant and will give their thoughts and critique
right there in the room so that each writer is ensured they are
heard by a publisher! That's THREE publisher's hearing your
song! Additionally, each publisher will be playing a song
from their own catalogues so that you can see check out what's
being pitched on the row by the pros!
This is a two
hour networking event here at the studio, but you can hang out
as long as you like. In addition to meeting our guests for
the night and getting your song heard, you will be networking
with 11 other writers so the possibility of information swapping
and co writing appointments you can set up is pretty great!
Since the guest
will be listening to one of your songs during the event, unless
he or she requests a copy of the song, we ask that you don't
bombard them with songs and lyrics. Look at this as a way
to meet an industry pro, get your foot in the door, meet other
writers in a very intimate setting and get some great feedback
on your material!
